RioSol Transmission Project to Generate $1.2 Billion of Economic Benefit in Arizona and New Mexico

The economic impact report from Energy Economic & Environmental Consultants revealed that the 550-mile High Voltage Alternating Current (HVAC) transmission line will generate $1.2 billion of economic benefit ($667 million in New Mexico and $500 million in Arizona). The project will create more than 2,600 jobs and be developed with $2.4 billion of private investment.
